Xiaoxue joined the Dynamics Research Group in March 2023 as a Research Associate at the University of Sheffield, focusing on developing ontologies and knowledge graphs for digital twins. He started his PhD at the Acoustics Research Unit group at University of Liverpool in March 2018 as an Early Stage Researcher in the EU Marie Curie project, ACOUTECT, focusing on the modelling of structure-borne sound transmission in lightweight buildings. His PhD thesis is titled “Transient excitation and response of lightweight timber floors with a heavy impact source”. Before his PhD, Xiaoxue obtained his bachelor’s degree in 2014 and master’s degree in 2017 in Transportation Engineering from Central South University.
