Timos KipourosSenior Postdoctoral Research Associate, University of Cambridge

Timoleon Kipouros is a leading senior researcher in the Process Management and Change Management groups in the Engineering Design Centre. Timos pioneered the development and adaptation of multidimensional data visualisation and interactive analysis to engineering systems with focus on supporting multi-partner decision-making processes. His role into the project is to extend the opportunities of Digital Twin concepts across different types of industry.

Timos has received a 5-year Diploma in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece, in 2002, and a PhD in Computational Engineering Design from the University of Cambridge in 2006. He then received a graduate certificate from MIT in Architecture and Systems Engineering in 2017. He has published more than 180 papers, book chapters, reports, and specialised industrial communications. His research falls into five categories: multidimensional data visualisation; computational design optimisation; visual analytics; value assessment; and change management.
