Dongxiao Hong received his MSc in Civil Engineering from Tongji University in 2018. During his degree, he focused on the vibration suppression of cable networks.
In September 2018, Dongxiao started his PhD in the Dynamics & Control research group at the University of Bristol. His research is on using the nonlinear normal modes to study the dynamics of nonlinear systems. A particular focus is on robust vibration suppression of nonlinear systems.
