George TsialiamanisPostdoctoral Research Associate, University of Sheffield

George Tsialiamanis is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Sheffield developing methods for digital twins. His research is focussed on data-driven methods for structural dynamics and structural health monitoring and also for the field of population-based structural health monitoring. His PhD was focussed on applying various machine learning methods, such as generative adversarial networks, for the purposes of developing digital twins of structures and creating models for damage detection. He obtained his MEng in civil engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and did his PhD in the University of Sheffield as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie early stage researcher of the Innovative Training Network Dynamic Virtualisation.
