Davide Balatti obtained his B.Sc in Aerospace Engineering in 2015 and his M.Sc in Aeronautical Engineering in 2018 at University of Milan. He focused his studies in rotary wing aircraft and during his thesis he worked on the aeroelastic model of a tiltrotor gust load reduction system.
In January 2019 he began his PhD at Swansea University on designing of passive and active robust control systems for aircraft gust load alleviation using morphing wing tip devices considering both structural and aerodynamic uncertainties.
